Your money, kept private.
Financial data is about as personal as it gets. So we built LifeFlow to know as little about you as possible — and to protect what you do share. Here’s the plain-English version of how. This is the human companion to our Privacy Policy; both describe the same real practices.
We never ask you to link your bank
No Plaid. No bank credentials. No transaction history. Your data is what you type — nothing more. This is a deliberate choice, not a missing feature: it means there are no bank logins to leak, and your accounts are never exposed to us or anyone else. You stay in control of exactly what LifeFlow knows.
Our AI never sees your name, accounts, or balances
When you use an AI feature, it receives only rounded, derived figures— things like “62% funded” or “about 4 months of expenses.” It never receives your name, your individual accounts, your balances, or your transactions. Anthropic is our sole AI provider, and data sent through its API is not used to train its models.
The AI cannot invent a number
Every figure you see is computed by our deterministic engine — the AI only puts those pre-computed numbers into plain, warm language. It is never asked to do the math. A numeric guard rejects any digit the AI wasn’t handed, and on any hiccup it falls back to safe, fixed copy. It literally cannot hallucinate a wrong dollar amount about your money.
You can only ever read your own data
At the database level we use Row-Level Security: access policies are enforced so that each account can read and write only its own rows. Another user — or a stranger — cannot reach your data, even if they tried.
We never see your card number
Payments are handled entirely by Stripe, under its PCI-DSS-compliant systems. LifeFlow never receives or stores your full card number — only the limited billing details (like plan and status) needed to manage your subscription.
Error reports never contain your numbers
We use Sentry to catch technical bugs, configured to scrub personal and financial data. An error report contains a stack trace and the page path — the technical shape of what went wrong — never the financial values you entered.
Delete everything, yourself
Account deletion is self-serve. It cancels any active subscription, then wipes your data, then removes your login — everything, gone. You don’t have to email anyone or wait for permission.
We don’t sell your data or share it for ads
Full stop. We don’t sell your personal information and we don’t share it for advertising. Our analytics (Vercel) are cookielessand don’t build an advertising profile or track you across other sites.
Who else touches your data
A handful of trusted providers help run LifeFlow. Each is bound by an agreement limiting its use of data to providing its service to us. These are all of them:
- SupabaseDatabase & authentication — stores your account and the data you enter, behind Row-Level Security.
- StripePayment processing — handles all card data; we never see a card number.
- ResendDelivery of transactional and account emails.
- AnthropicPowers our AI features; receives only rounded, derived context — and doesn’t train on API data.

- SentryError monitoring, configured to scrub personal and financial data.
